Baby & Post-natal Checks

When we receive notification of a birth send the Accurx text called "Baby Registration" to mum with link for new baby registration.

Keep a list of new births.

Chase registration by text then phone after 4 weeks if not received.

Cross them off the list when baby is registered.

Book appointments for post natal checks at baby age 8 weeks (must not be before 8 weeks as imms can't be given):

• 10min face to face for mum
• 20min face to face for baby
• immunisation appt with nurse

Ensure post-natal questionnaire is sent and received back before the appointment date. Send the Accurx template text "post-natal questionnaire" ideally a day or two before the appointment (not too early).

Use routine telephone slots but convert to Post Natal slots.
