Latent TB

Ensure all newly registering patients are answering the TB questionnaire as part of the registration process.

Ensure coding is correct. Must have

• "born in..." and country of birth from the list in the registration document
• date of entry into united kingdom
• "latent tuberculosis screening invitation SMS (short message service) text" 925681000000105 OR
• "latent tuberculosis screening telephone invitation" OR
• "latent tuberculosis screening telephone email" OR
• "latent tuberculosis screening first letter"

Anyone who has a positive response to the questionnaire should be offered a blood test.

Doctors will deal with any positive blood test results.
